The scholarship consists of one month`s salary for the postdoctoral fellow on the basis of the host country`s national and conventional employment contracts (Denmark, Germany, the Netherlands, Switzerland). Four universities of the EuroTech Universities Alliance (DTU, EPFL, TU/e and TUM) are awarding 80 scholarships, divided into two calls to experienced researchers. By appeal, each university awards 10 scholarships for a 24-month period for collaborative and interdisciplinary research projects within the Alliance. The five members of the EuroTech Alliance (DTU, EPFL, TU/e, TUM and L`X) will stand together. Each scholarship is awarded for a maximum of 24 months. It is not possible to extend the EuroTechPostdoc programme. Hosts must come from appropriate disciplines to assist fellows in all aspects of their interdisciplinary project. EuroTechPostdoc Fellows have a personal supervisor at their host university and a personal supervisor at the co-host university. The support is done in formal meetings as well as during daily research cooperation and collegial interactions. During the application process, the host and co-host must support the application.
